A few things that change the paperwork

Has any country ever refused you a visa?

Say yes even if it was years ago or a different country. Leaving a refusal out is treated far more seriously than the refusal itself.

Are you applying from a country you are not a citizen of?

For example, a Nigerian citizen applying while living in the UAE.

Is someone else paying for the trip?

An employer, a relative, or a host. If so, their financial documents are needed as well as yours.

Will you pass through another country on the way?

A connecting flight with a change of airport, or a stopover.
